Today In ‘John Boehner’s Life Is A Living Hell’
What frightens me is that these tea party radicals didn’t simply parachute into congress to wreak havoc on our economic recovery, our social insurance programs and civil rights, they were each and every single one voted into congress. What does that say about parts of our country? They, being Americn citizens, have the right to be heard and to have their voices expressed, but do we really have that many who think in the way of these tea party politicians? Most of their theories on economics have been proven disastrous for the country as a whole, especially if you are one of the 99% and their social views are so narrow minded as to belong in another century, they do not represent the majority but a voraciously vocal minority so they should realize that they need to give over and allow for the majority to have its day. Unfortunately, we seem to have been hijacked by these tea party republicans who refuse to say “uncle”. I, for one, have had it with the influence that Ronald Reagan’s voodoo economics have had on our nation. Grover Norquist and his ilk need to be put away as does Saint Ronnie and saner, more progressive economic theories need to rule the day because while the uber-wealthy are reaping all the benefits of our recovery, the majority are still mired knee deep in a recession. That is not the way to properly govern an economic “super-power”.
