Standing Rock Member Reminds Barack Obama About Promise He Made When They Met
President Obama please take a stand in solidarity with those at Standing Rock. I realize you are very busy, but this matters to so many who have been ignored. Moreover President Elect Trump has a financial stake in the pipeline going through, that should be enough to issue an executive order I would think. We have so much to make up for to the Native American, economically, politically, educationally, in terms of basic freedom and now the environment, why do we feel no shame? How in the world can there be a silence in our country when during the week of Thanksgiving, the Indigenous people were tear gassed and assaulted with water cannons during below freezing temperatures? What kind of people are we?
